12.45pm | Niamh Lynch | Dog behaviour | Niamh is a qualified dog trainer working in Dublin, Ireland. Niamh is the founder of Polite Paws Dog Training, a company offering dog training and walking services across North County Dublin. Niamh completed the Canine Behaviour and Training Technician OCN Level 4 course with AniEd Ireland in 2017. |
13.30pm | Siobhan Owens | Bringing home a new puppy, the early days. Siobhan may surprise us with a bit of her quirky humour, wait and see | Siobhan is a dog trainer and behaviourist working with dogs since 1989. She set up Dublin Pet School after noticing how many dogs attending group classes were not able to cope with the classroom environment and needed 1-2-1 training first. Siobhan specialises in reactivity between dogs and human aggression. I offer 1-2-1 personalised training plans and travel to the owners own homes. She has a Masters in Canine Behaviour and a Diploma in Behavioural studies and a Diploma in Holistic animal healing. |
14.15pm | Dogs Trust | Educational Talk | Dogs Trust arrived in Ireland in 2005 and is Ireland’s largest dog welfare charity. They began their work by launching our hugely successful nationwide Education programme. They now employ an Education & Community Team of 6 who deliver free curriculum linked workshops based around responsible dog ownership throughout Primary Schools in Ireland. Dogs Trust believe that by educating children, they are enabling the next generation of dog owners to make informed decisions on owning a dog in the future |
3.30pm | Dr. Paul Kelly veterinary | Animal welfare, getting the best from exercising and keeping your dog in top condition | Paul graduated from UCD as a veterinary surgeon in 1989, since then he has worked in a variety of areas but always had a special interest in small animal and exotic animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Kelly has since furthered his education in Madrid veterinary university with a masters in orthopaedics and traumatology. |

12.30 | Canicross Relay The team will show case 3 disciplines of this growing dog sport: running, bikejoring & scootering. The length of the relay may need to be limited if the weather is too warm. |

14.30 | Husky sled dog team The republics only sled dog team will show how it’s done. Lapland here we come! |
